I have been an admirer of Harold Budd's work for more than twenty years. His music has an ability to evoke memory, dreams and nostalgia for moments that never existed. His work is frequently identified as ambient, minimal and occasionally classical, but these reductive labels do not do justice to the complexity and quiet beauty of his work.

I created this site when, to my surprise, I found that no coordinated place existed on the web for information about Harold Budd and his music.
